ETI HIstory
Launched in 2007 by Robert Watson, the Founding Chairman (1994-2005) of the LEED Green Building Rating System of the U.S. Green Building Council, EcoTech International (ETI) brings an unparalleled combination of green building expertise, innovation and key "cleantech" technology solutions to China, India and the United States.

As the "Father of LEED" and one of the leading experts in the international high performance green building movement, Rob Watson possesses a two-decade track record of delivering cutting-edge projects and programs worldwide.
The only foreigner recognized by China's Ministry of Construction for green building innovation, Mr. Watson steered LEED to become the world's largest and fastest growing building certification system. LEED is today the de facto green building standard of the U.S. and Canada and has been adopted in India by the Confederation of Indian Industry.
With over 20 years of international and domestic experience developing environmental programs and projects in the buildings sector, Mr. Watson has brought his unmatched skill and understanding to individual clients and governments worldwide. Through comprehensive design and systems integration, ETI is helping clients to achieve cost-effective high performance green buildings.
Driven by a desire to continue his market transforming efforts to demonstrate that everyone can "do well, while doing good", Mr. Watson has assembled a team of world-class experts integrated across a broad range of disciplines to meet the changing needs of clients who want to implement 21st century concepts and technologies to their buildings, cities and organizations.
